Laura Berkowitz Gilbert is the principal and creative director of Boomerang Studio. Boomerang Studio works on a wide range of design projects - from corporate identity to editoral, collateral, and promotional design. A partial client list includes New York Magazine, McGraw-Hill, The Children's Aid Society, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Nyack Hospital, United Jewish Communities, and The Big Bam! Foundation. Prior to founding Boomerang Studio, Laura worked at the design firm Donovan and Green on the American Express Platinum, Corporate Platinum, and Optima accounts. She also held tenure as a senior senior art director in the corporate communications department of ISO, serving the property and casualty insurance markets. Laura holds a BA in history from the University of Pennsylvania and a BFA in communication design from Parsons School of Design in New York. Her work has appeared on Good Morning America, in The New York Post, Communication Arts, Newsweek, Metropolis, and Shape magazines. Laura also collaborated on a How to Help a Choking Victim poster. It was the winning entry in a competition and now hangs in nearly every New York City restaurant.
